However, the full potential of natural resources—ranging from medicinal compounds and food sources to biodegradable materials, active ingredients, and numerous innovative technologies - is yet to be explored. Currently, there is a significant gap between conventional human production systems and natural ecosystems regeneration necessities. This gap results in pollution, resource scarcity, environmental devastation, contamination, disease spread, and many other issues that hinder the sustainable development of our society.
